Fluevog Alcuin award winner

FLUEVOG: 50 Years of Unique Soles for Unique Souls is an Alcuin Society Book Design Award winner!

The Alcuin Society announced the winners of its 38th annual book design competition in early October 2020. The judges selected 54 winning titles from 237 submissions, from 9 provinces and 112 publishers in Canada. FLUEVOG, designed by Natalie Olsen and published by Wonderwell imprint LifeTree Media in November 2019, was awarded honourable mention in the Pictorial category. Written by cult shoe designer John Fluevog, this visually rich coffee table book is a celebration of his brand Fluevog Shoes and its freewheeling fans. It brings us pride to see the book declared one of the 54 best-designed books in 2019 from the only national competition for book design in Canada.

Congrats to Art Director Natalie Olsen and to author John Fluevog for this truly wonderful honor!

The full list of winners is available on the Alcuin website.
