“Heal the Healer is not just a book; it’s a testament to the resilience of those who dedicate their lives to healing—reminding us that in order to change our world, we must first learn to change ourselves.”
—Mike Hoffman, co-founder, Changing Our World
Therapists, coaches, bodyworkers, alternative medicine practitioners—the list of wellness workers who fill the ever-widening gap left by our institutionalized healthcare system goes on and on. So too does the chronic stress and exhaustion that these professionals experience in their everyday lives. Many of us know someone in this essential workforce, yet there is not enough support available for those who give the most.
Joshua Rosenthal, visionary healthcare pioneer and founder of the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN), addresses these long-held concerns and offers practical strategies for seeking joy in his upcoming book, Heal the Healer—which we are excited to release this April. With over 30 years of experience as a nutritional counselor and personal coach, he brings compassionately informed solutions to those highly empathic and energetically attuned readers who constantly provide for others but don’t always give themselves the same level of care.
Respected widely among experts in the holistic medicine and nutrition field, Rosenthal’s new book teaches audiences how to:
• Set boundaries and limitations in your work life
• Decrease symptoms of stress, compassion fatigue, and vicarious trauma
• Rewrite your story and overcome childhood wounds
• Protect your energy and foster a stronger work-life balance
• Seek out and take part in a community of peers
• Experience more joy
Heal the Healer is an approachable, practical guide for stressed-out caregivers who are ready to set healthy boundaries, heal old wounds, and live a fuller, more joyful life.
