HumanKind wins IBPA Benjamin Franklin Awards

It brings us joy to announce that HumanKind by Brad Aronson has won two awards in the 33rd annual IBPA Benjamin Franklin Awards! The book earned the gold award in the inspirational category and a silver award in the nonfiction cover design category. Run by the Independent Book Publishers Association (IBPA), the Benjamin Franklin Awards celebrates excellence in book editorial and design, and is recognized as one of the highest national honors in independent publishing.

Selected for two Benjamin Franklin Awards, HumanKind is a collection of true, heartwarming stories of people doing good in the world. The book, released in the spring of 2020, is an uplifting reminder of what really matters and of how easily you can change a life—including your own.

“We think it was the perfect book to put out during the pandemic times when people so needed encouragement and inspiration,” said our publisher, Maggie Langrick, in her acceptance speech for the gold award. Watch her speech in the video below.
