Now Hiring: Executive Assistant for LA-based Book Publisher (Part Time)

Wonderwell is seeking a detail-oriented EXECUTIVE / PUBLISHING ASSISTANT with exceptional verbal and written communication skills to support the publisher and editorial department, initially on a part-time basis.

Duties will range from administrative tasks such as contract preparation, light bookkeeping / data entry, book P&L and sales report preparation, to personal / executive assistant tasks such as email and calendar management, minutes-taking, digital and hard-copy filing, travel booking, errands (shipping, mail pickup, etc.), and vendor / supplier research and relationship management.

This is an hourly W2 position starting at 15 hours per week, with the potential to grow into a full-time role. You will work largely from home for now, with a limited number of in-person meetings and errands each month (mainly in downtown LA and Hollywood).

Essential skills and competencies: Microsoft Word + Excel, G-Suite, Asana, Dropbox, QuickBooks, Mailchimp, Calendly, Zoom, Adobe Acrobat. Bonus points for experience with CoreSource / iPage / IQ, EOS, Vimeo, and WordPress. Experience working in an operational / administrative role in trade book publishing strongly preferred. Must be a resident of California legally entitled to work in the United States.
